This is a project I created for a motion design challenge for Layer Lemonade's alumni in the course community Discord server. The theme of the challenge was simply "rays of blue".
My main inspiration for this project visual idea was the Tesseract cube from Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. I storyboarded a short and simple loop sequence and digitally painted a styleframe with strong use of stylized textures and edges. The main challenge was transferring this style for the final animation, a task I could achieve with a lot of trial, error and experimentation.
